reflection on reciting a poem in english class

I don't really think i did a terrific in reciting the poem, because i really only know the idea of each stanza, and then fill in the words in between. This may not be an issues since ht poem is easy to memorize though. Just to make it clear, I did not choose this poem on purpose because it is easy, instead I find it very beautiful and awed that someone can actually stay healthy and positive in this issue instead of being bitter and hateful after such horrible events. The stanza that i have trouble the most is the last stanza, which is longer than the rest and easy to memorize nontheless. this poem is extremely easy to memorize due to the first and the last line being the same, and I did not encounter much trouble doing so. I should find more challenging poem next time, but must retain the same deep meaning.
