Is Revenge Ever Justified?

No, revenge is never justified, at least not conducted or planned by the victim. as a Buddhist, is strongly believe that you will eventually endure the pain you give to others. And that has been proven true many times over in my life. I often found myself suffering the exactly same “tricky scenario” that I often inflicted upon others just awhile back. This does not necessary have to be based on religion however, pure logic can also prove that it is true, as long as you help others, people will not want to hurt or make your life miserable. Exerting revenge upon others is just dropping yourself to their level, and eventually it will cause a continual cycle of revenge between two individuals that never ends. As idealistic as that sound, however, due to my rash and short-tempered personality I often have trouble sticking to my beliefs. You do not need to conduct revenge on someone, eventually fate will do their job.

what is friendship?

Friendship is the bond that people share between each other that is positive. This means that there is lack of hostility between friends. Friends would also be welling to help their friend out as well, they will be willing to do a favor for their friend, even thought it requires a lot of work or something signig=ficant a friend must sacrifice. A friendship becomes stale and corrupt when one just abuses and takes advantage of another friend, buy exploiting and getting favor from another friend and does nothing in return; or when someone who just refuses to helpa friend because they are lazy. A decent friend will also not require to much of their friend, and would take time to listen to their friends complaint and provide positive feedback. In short, friends should not be only about the good things, like videogames and hanging out, but also helping each other at a time of need. Like the famous chinese quote, acholoic meat friends, which means they are only there for the pleasures and will retreat when you are in trouble, those are not the type of people you should hang out with.

what is dignity?

Dignity is the self confidence within oneself and the believe that one’s worth to the world. Dignity is the pride that one is doing something that is benefiting others or belief that they have achieved something very significant. Dignity is the thought that one is part of something bigger than others. Dignity is the belief that one is on par or higher level than others. Most people today have dignity and will not do demeaning things for others like what slaves used to do. Dignity is the will to not bend down to others or accept defeat. Many samurais during the japan feudalism age conduct ritual suicide when they are defeated. This shows their dignity and their unwillingness to submit to other people. People like Hitler also suicide rather than get captured he kept his own dignity but is still a very horrible person. The tank guy in tainiam square stood in front of a tank even though the tank can run over him very easily, this shows the stubbornness and unwillingness to bend down to the communist Chinese. Oda Nobunaga also conducted suicide when his palace is surrounded by enemy general. All these fellow people show dignity and their pride.

happiness is

Happiness is the lack of greed. Greed is the cause of pain and suffering, when people cannot achieve what they desired to get, they become depressed and unhappy. Happiness is that one instant when people got what they wanted, just right before they started to desire something else The theory that life is formed with sadness and happiness intertwined is very true. Our life will be a endless cycle of achieving our goal or failing to do so. The setting for a new goal and being miserable through its duration will directly follow it.

So the equation is basically sad+desiresàhappy+ achieved goalàsad +desires. I have been thinking about this recently and this is what I have come up with and almost fits every situation possible. I am happy today because I got a good grade, for example. It is consisted of a goal being achieved and studying hard for it. 

Movie VS Book the Time Machiene

the movie of the time machine(2002) and the book itself is very similar in terms of the general idea and characters. the different versions also contains the divided human species. the movie however, changes the character motivation of the plot completely. the time traveler in the movie goes to the future to determine why he cannot change the past, while in the book the time traveler went into the future to simply explore the future. the eloi in the movie are not as graceful and childlike s described in the book. the movie also added a single villian in the movie, while the book does not. in the end, the time traveler stayed in the future in the movie, while in the book, he goes back and explore, then disappeared. A funny point about the movie si that the book is actually mentioned in the story,and the general plot which is lated conducted. i do not know if that was a mistake since it left us confused.

what is a teacher

Allot of people influenced me in my life my family members; teachers at school, and my violin teacher all do so. They all have common traits; they try to push me as much as possible. My violin teacher is kind of an interesting figure because he tends to care more about my practicing violin. He also cares about y grades and my afterschool activities. He will sometimes give me advice regarding what activities to pursue and also what will be beneficial to knowledge. My family just tries its best to find things to criticize me about, and by doing that, makes me very annoyed and have to improve.

The teachers at my school helps me a lot as well, most of them are willing to help me after school of things that I do not understand. They are very eager to correct my mistakes and emphasize what I would have to improve.

what will you do to be popular

I do not think I would give up anything to be popular, they either accept me as what i am or dont. I will not go around flattering a jerk just to be popular, all i want is a decent friend who will not betray me at any chance, and remember who they used to be if they get popular

Today is not really a bad day ait all, it was very fun and really awesome due to teh fact that there is only one midterm for today. we do , however, have environmental science midterm. i completely do not know one of the questions answer, adn sinc there are only 9 questions, i revieve an immediate B . this is really aweful since it will drag my a- down to a b . on the plus side, all my major midterms are done, what remains is only french, which is not that scary at all

how important is status?

Status is very important for opportunities such as having good grades will get you into honors class, which in turn will get you higher GPA if chosen to work hard. Statuses are also very important for how people judge you, if u have a low status chances are that people will not want to work with you or talk to you, thus losing more opportunities. Status, like every other thing, are not really important for happiness, everybody remains sad and new concerns emerges whichever status anyone is currently in. no one will ever be truly 100% happy no matter what status they are currently in, to do so is to reach enlightened which seldom people have actually achieved. So in conclusion, status is very important for power hungry and ambitious person, but not really in terms of making people very happy, because greed will cause us to want to move to yet another higher status.
